these are my great great grandparents and it would be wonderful to see the picture and would appreciate any comments regarding them and Pennock Hill as well

this picture is a copy of a copy made about 20 years ago. Pennock Hill was probably named that because it was located on Pennock property (probably the William or Samuel Pennock property)just past present Elgin and the high school.

Unfortunately this was a copy of a copy from a family bible of a member of the Pennock family,now long deceased so the original is not available. Philemon was the first postmaster of Elgin and his wife was also from the Elgin area.
