The laying of the Corner Stone of the Anglican Church in Burk's Falls. This was an important moment for the town and many of the townsfolk and parishioners were in attendance.
There were many different faiths in Burk's Falls and each had their own place of worship. Churches were not just used on Sunday. They were also used by local groups. This picture has the Baptist Church's Women's Group.
