My grandmother Elmina Isabella Hobson née Lynde was reportedly named after Miss Elmina Lynde. Her father was Frederick George Lynde, son of Carleton Lynde, son of Jabez Lynde. I've sent the photo to my daughter who has the third name "Elmina" after her great grandmother...and on it goes. my regards and thanks for the website.
