By Monica Wenzlaff The News Many young students return- ing to school last week were anx- ious for classes to begin, although they were reluctant to admit it. For kids from kindergarten to grade eight, school can be hard work along with a lot of fun. Each student of course has a Favourite -- and it seems Grey, who also said that of all of that to many, recess is on the top of the list. Yet, others still liked the more serious subjects and quickly admitted to enjoying math and spelling. Art and gym seem to be favourites for practically every- one. "I like seeing all my friends," said Grade 4 student Bradley his subjects, he likes math the best. Aaron MacKenzie, another Grade 4 student, shared his friend's enthusiasm for math, but had to get used to the early morn- ing school hours. "Waking up in the morning... It's okay, I guess," he said, and took a moment to remember he was no longer in Grade 3 when asked. Maggie Grimm, who also entered Grade 4 this year, missed taking part in art classes while on her summer vacation. "I kinda like seeing all my friends and recess," she said. She was glad to be back at school. "I love school 'cause the class- es are good," said Grade 5 student Sheri Bryson. Paul Young and Bill Crompton with the Cumming Cockburn Ltd consulting firm have been study- ing the area for almost two years. The three specific sites highlight- ed in their presentation were the Aguasabon beach, Lyda Bay and Hydro Bay. Many suggestions for short- term improvements at the Aguasabon beach were made.
