Francis Basen WINNERS IN MATHEMATICS CONTEST Of the Schreiber High School Students participa- ting in the Ontario Junior Mathematics Contest spon-| sored by the University of Waterloo, Paul Caccamo placed first, followed by Ted Ross and Ron Chicoine. These three students have been invited to an Awards Banquet at the Lakehead University on May 29th. Paul will be awarded a gold-filled pin as top Junior student from the school. As a student appear= ing on the District Honour Roll, Ted will receive a sterling silver pin in addition to the shield he re- ceived last year. Congratulations are extended to these three stu- dents and Mr. Durham. The Kinsmen Club of Schreiber has decided to change the site of the annual July Ist celebration to the Kinsmen Park at White Sand Lake. In addition to the normal field activities, many new aquatic events will be held. All citizens of Rossport, Schreiber and Terrace Bay are invited to celebrate Canada's 104th Birthday with the Kinsmen Club of Schreiber.
