The bushmen were disgusted with three days' lost time although many of them attempted to do semething during the bad weather, One man was serieusly injured due to slippery foeting. We hope he gets over his injury soon. Toels are treacherous when used in mild stormy weather, espeeially axes. In bush operations, men have been known to cut themselves on the baek of the head with an axe that had a wet slipperty handle. There are numerious eases of lost fingers and majer euts. One good rule in the bush is, "Respeet yeur Axe"; another is, "Watch your feeting". Like one Swede says te anether Swede when told te jump, "How the -- can IJ yump when I got no place to stood", The Aquasabon River is open for Leng stretehes although there is still iee along the banks, This ice is very treacherous. One man, who was getting water from the river, was on a eake of iee when it breke away from the river bank, The eake of iee rolled over when it hit the eurrent and the man had to swim fer it. Fortunately, there were no serious results. The Lewer Aquasabon Lakes are also partly open, Malcolm Spiddel and Willie Heinrich are still 'batching! at the drive eamp, They both look fine se theyean't be suffering yet. Bob Hennessy is away East, on a business trip, and Jack Hennessy is taking ever the clearing operatiens in his absenee, Russ Cramp is foreman ef Woodlands Camp One, having taken Jim Walsh's place. Jim is going to Labrador to continue a prespeeting contract which he had last summer, Hydre Road te Camp Three (Lower Aquasabon Lakes) is open to such vehieles as the 4 x 4 Jeep if driven by experieneed drivers familiar with the read. Several of the men from Woodlands Camp One were able to attend the shew at. Terrace Bay and we're very pleased with the recreation. ris -o00- CHANGE IN RAILWAY TIME TABLE ' We have been advised by the Canadian Pacifie Railway that, effective April 27th, .
