Description
An article written by local columnist Dorothy Eedy titled "Trying new recipes on friends can prove exciting". In the article Eedy describes the experience of trying out new recipes on friends and how this once led to a friend telling a story about his childhood in the American South. She served him "Dirty Rice", a traditional Cajun rice dish. Eedy's acquaintance explained how he remembers the Klu Klux Klan imbedding itself in his small community and his parents rejecting a membership from the town mayor.

Recipes included in the article: "Dirty Rice"
