Built 1943-45 by Mr.A. Howard and was operated by Mrs. Howard until after WW2. P.C.Johnson & Jack Root purchased it from Howards and operated it until about 1953.
The building housed Hammonds Drug Store for a time and then hammond moved to the Fitz building. Mac & Ruth Drummond purchased the building around 1969 and converted it into apartments.
