- Black and white photograph of a scrapbook page on Deer Lake Lodge, in the South River area. Only the photograph in the middle of the page is highlighted, and it shows the front and side of the lodge, just after its initial construction. The paint is white, there are porches on the front of both floors, and a few windows can be seen in the attic.
- Notes
- William Detta Sr. built Deer Lake Lodge in the 1920s, on the land of his parent's homestead. There was eleven bedrooms, a living room, pantry and store room. The lodge was filled with men during hunting season. William's family lived at an attached house and hosted the hunters.

- Handwritten under the main photograph on the scrapbook page is the caption "Deer Lake Lodge."
