DetailsThe man in uniform is Lt. Josepf "Joe" S. Ditchburn. The Canadian Pacific train contains the men from 122nd CEF Battalion which was leaving Gravenhurst. This battalion embarked from the port of Halifax, Nova Scotia on three ships. The first two ships, the "Missanabie" & the "Tunisan" left the port on May 21st. 1917 with 2 officers and 50 O.R.(Detail) each.
