Several members showed an interest in resuming the bowlâ€" ing at Elqin and the bus trip to Lake Placid has fortyâ€"four passengers in waiting. Mrs. Miriam Bryan, delegate to the convention held at Queen's University in August gave a splendid report of the two days soent there accomâ€" panied by Mrs. Talbot, Mrs. Gifford and Vera Sheridan who also contributed by giving short sketches of the meetings. Mr. Gifford spoke briefly and the meeting was closed with the Royal Anthem. A short sing song was held with Mrs. Sheridan at the piano. The October meetina will be held on the afternoon of the 19th.
