Ann Marie Marshall supplied a delicious lunch and Judy Timpany the unuSual entertainment which we all enjoyed. We travelled to SylviaiHerleheys in WEstport for our first meeting in Oct- ober. Marie Sharp reported on the success of our garage sale at Pedherney's. Notes will be sent to special helpers. Monâ€" etary support will be given to the Boat People Fund, and a child's dental bill will be paid. Our scavenger hunt at Sharp's didn't quite turn out as planned, but all who attended had a great time. MHrcia Night- ingale and Judy Pattinson had a good time at the Sorority Fashion Show sponsored by the Gananoque Chapter. The five members who attended the Windsor Convention along with the Social Convener, Barb Purdy, will be in charge of the Founder's Day Dinner for the area this year. Barb Bakker's program centered around a display of various optical illusions. We all tried our hand at figuring them out. . ’ Nancy Sheffield, Sharon Horsfield and Judy Horsfall were special guests at Carolyn McPherson's. Each committee chairman gave a short report of their functions, our past performances and our present projects. Our Chapter will again provide the lunch booth for the Rideau Crafts Christmas Market on Saturday, November 24th. The membership and guests took part in a sorority orientated play to ac- quaint everyone of the pitfalls a group can encounter, and what to do about it. The original Lamplighter Band from- Smiths Falls will be in attendance at both services and the Brockville Color Party joining the Portland parade and service.» The Volunteer Fire Fighters, Scouts, Cubs, Guides, Brownies and any other organization are welcome to join in the parade and service. Those taking part in the parade are asked to be the Fire Hall, Elgin at 2:15 p.m. and in Portland at Rideau Centennial School.
