P NORTH LEEDS LANTERN Dear Readers This month, I've been asked to devote my allotted lines to invite a variety of contributions from our readers. We are anxious to see the work of more of our neighbours in the columns of the Lantern, whether it be news, a poem, a short story or a piece of nonâ€"fiction of local interest. We're sure there must be some wonderful story-tellers out there and we know that North Leeds is just teeming with poets. Perhaps you're an authority on some aSpect of local history ormaybe you've comâ€" mitted to paper some of the stories your grandmother used to tell. If you don't think you have a literary bent, you probably mahe the best rhubarb pie this side of Hartzgravel and we'll be eaâ€" gerly anticipating receipt of your recipe for our new "Great Cooks" column. Whatever your field of interest, we would like to help you share it with our readers and welcome you as a contributor to the Lantern.
