Mrs. Amy Bracken chose as her study topic "A U.C.W. member and her Christian calling." This provided much valuable material for prayer and thought for each to use in our daily lives. Correspondence included accounts of upcoming meetings,’ thankyou cards and messages from the two foster children. The card committee was requested to remember shutâ€"ins Mrs. Laura Galway, Mrs. Jessie Green and Mrs. Glenna Wills. Mrs. Frances Bryan gave each lady a "Blessing Can". She had Spent much time salvaging cans and covering them with reminders such as "He who helps a child helps humanity." If we are moved to drop in a coin each time we are aware of a special blessing in the day, this should boost the Mission Giving by the end of the year. Following adjournment home baking donated by Mrs. Millie McFadden and Mrs. Velma Dorman was auctioned by Mrs. Mabel Mainse. This netted us $12.00.
