The train stepped the Steam Museum where everyone appreciated the smooth running steamâ€"powered machines and:$eam cars. The bus was there to take everyone to the Holiday Inn for lunch. They returned to Seeley's Bay after a very enjoyable day - thanks to arrangements made by Fred Stewart. SEELEY'S BAY LODGE The residents of Seeley's Bay are happy to see the former "Car- veth Nursing Home" active again. The facilities have been com- pletely renovated and are now open to people who want to take up re- sidency there. It is now known as Seeley's bay Lodge which is a divi- sion of Carveth. The residents of the Lodge will have all their meals served to them. People will be able to come and go as they wish. There will be a live- in Registered Nursing Assistant and other staff twenty-four hours a day. The homelike facility is close to churches, stores, Post Office, library and bank. A bus service south to Kingston or north to Elgin, Smith Falls etc. is available just a few yards from the front door. It is hoped the people of Seeley's Bay will welcome these new residents into our midst and make them feel welcome. ST Peter’s A.C.W. After an enjoyable summer vacation, the members and welcomed guests are invited to attend our September A.C.W. meeting at Charlotte McConnell's. Because of school opening the evening will be changed to Tuesday, Sept. 9th. We hope to have a good attendance and much preparation and spiritual inspiraâ€" tion will be achieved. Sunday School will be commencing soon and we need extra teachers and also desperately need a church organist (electrical reed organ) starting in September. Anyone with a musical talent would be acceptable and terms would be negotiable. The "Family Life Library" will be on the back bench of the church during the month of September. Much valuable reading is available to be returned at the end of the month. Father Don Bailey and Elaine enjoyed their vacation in Newfoundland. We welcome them back and hope our attendance will multiply in the coming months. égqbezf CHIMNEY SWEEPING INSPECTION & REPAIR SPLIT 8x DRY HARDWOOD FOR SALE KEN RASMUSSEN R.R. l. ELGIN. ONT.
