For anyone who may be interesâ€" ted in joining the Legion but was never sure if he qualified, all it takes is one letter to get the ball rolling. Our membership chairman is always on hand to give advice to anyone who requests it. One of our major projects for 1977 has been that of "Operation Service"° This program's prime aim is to contact veterans and dependants who may be eligible for veteran's benefits, namely Disability Pensions, War Veterans Allowance, etc., but are unaware of their rights and privi- leges. Those already receiving these benefits should not, other than in special circumstances, be required to re-apply. If you know of anyone who thinks , or you think, may be in need of services such as the above, or someone you don't know needs help, then please have he or she contact this branch immediately. All efforts are being made throughout Canada right now to help those who need our help, and it is our duty to help if we can. Further information will be given to anyone who needs it if they make thmeselves known to this branch. The Ladies Auxiliary to the branch continues with their Wednesday Night Bingos. Early Birds start at 7:h5 pm with regular bingo commencing at 8pm d1arp. Admission is only 31.00 and extra cards are 15¢ each. We play 6 specials during the night including a build-up jackpot.
