NORTH LEEDS LANTERN page 9 Lyndhurst Improvements Slated for Sweet’s Corners School The Leeds and Grenville Board of Education has allocated $60,000 this year to upgrade facilities at Sweet's Corners Elementary Schoolo Work is to be carried out in the following areas:acquisition of learning materials.blackboards. bulletin boards:improved ventilaâ€" tionza suspended ceiling and steel and glass enclosure for the resource and reading centre; reâ€" location of lights and switching: and 100 steel student lockers. ‘ According to Mro Eyre .princiâ€" pal at the school,priority will be given to improvements which most immediately affect learning. Thus.he hopes that work will be completed this summer on ventil- ation,lighting and installation of blackboards. The Board of Education is presently getting prices from con- tractors on the work.Improvements will be carried out as funds per- mit.
