‘NORTH LEEDS LANTERN ' PHILIPSVILLE WOMEN'S INSTITUTE The Philipsville Women's In- stitute met in their Hall on July 13th this month. The motto of the meeting was "Pioneers had a tranquilizer call- ed work,'prepared by Mrs. Leorene Hayes. Plans for the Delta Fair ex- hibit were completed. Mr. Leeson also received an ink portrait of himself, drawn by Ken Aylesworth. Rev. Grant Richardson, Delta United Church, gave the Dedication. Mary Richardson, who graduated from Beverley Elementary last year, was the piano accompanist for the Graduation.
