CJLL. of E1gin&Philipsville Following concelebration of Mass by Father McAvoy and ‘ Father Keyes, the members of the the C.W.L. met in the rectory. The meeting opened with a reading of the league prayer. Correspondence included a no- tice of a regional meeting to be held October 29, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Lanark. Members were reminded of the clothing drive for Madonna House, Combermere. A potluck supper for the whole parish was scheduled for December 17. As diocesan spiritual director for the C.W.L., Father E.J. Keyes, guest speaker, was able to outline the various levels between the parish council and the national council. While maintaining that the diocesan, provincial and national councils are very important to the C.W.L. and to the whole Church, Father Keyes stressed the necessity of a strong council at the parish level. He encouraged members to be as active as possible in the parish council and to try to introduce gradually a study of the working of the other levels. Theresa Vanderwerf thanked Father Keyes for his informative and enjoyable address. The next meeting, November 14, at the Community Boom, will feature a film entitled Prayer and Healing which deals with a priest's work in a hospital. Father Brian McNally of Hotel Dieu Hospital will be present. £06501: Potte’zy Fine handcnafited Atonewanc. Now at R.R.3,E£gin. PlcaAc ca££ 35995647,Tueb., ThunA.8 Sat..
