The group is currently working on the first production, a collection of one act plays to delight, amuse and entertain. 'Schuberts Last Serenade'. a comic farce. is a fast paced play about the difficulties a construction worker encounters in a high classed restaurant with his new girlfriend. Phe cast includes Fed and Ann Landon. Phomas and Richard Scovil, Ross Patterson and Henry Boston. 'Love Scene'. a comedy about a garbage collector and his love of food and his clients. stars Bob and Ruth Pedherney. Phe final play of the evening will be Wilder's 'A Long Christ- mas Dinner'. This play has been called the greatest one act play of English theatre. Dhe play is an expressionist view of ninety Christmas dinners which one house experienCes. and the people, that are born. live, and die therein. In spite of Nilder's use of death to mark the passing of time, the play is light and happy. It is always Christmas and Christmas is always happy. wilder shows us the selfl~perpetuating sameness of the universe as a whole. while examining the ever changing details within the univ~ erse.
