NORTH LEEDS LANTERN V V. ‘- _ - DELTA DATA THE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION BRANCH 207 of DELTA The Delta Legion held a very suc- cessful Fish Fry at their Hall on May 6th.It was so well attended that they had to send out for more fish to feed all those who came. On Sunday.May 7th Branch 207 hosted the Annual Zone (G2) Memorial Service. The Parade progressed from Beverley Public School to the Memorial.It was led by the Delta Fire Truck and Brock- ville Pipe Band. The Colour Party was formed by the Ladies' Auxiliary,followed by Sgt.- at-arms,John Curry and the Honour Col- our Party.Zone Commander Ken Fulford led the Branches from:Brockville(96), Gananoque(92),Lyndhurst(504),Seeleys Bay(491),Portland-Elgin(231) and Delta (207). The wreath for the Memorial Service was laid by Frank Chisholm and George Harrington who are veterans of the First World War,and have been with the Royal Canadian Legion for over 50 years. The Parade was followed by a lunch- eon at the Legion Hall.Entertainment was provided by Pipers led by Colin MacLellan and dancers Sheeley MacPhee , and Karen Wylee. Goodwill Day will be held in Kingâ€" ston this year on May 27 at 1 p.m.from the Cricketfield to Branch #9. Branch 207 of Delta is planning a Bass Fish Derby for Jun.24th.Please note that the deadline for entry will be the night of Jun.23rd. DELTA FIRE DEPT."CHANTRY CO."
