The May 9th. meeting of the Elgin U.C.W. was opened by the President, Sandra Freeman, with the reading of two poems, and a welcome to members, guests from Seeley's Bay and a number of guests from the congregation. A short contest-~trying to identify the baby pictures of some of the members followed. The worship service was on the theme 'Wother", and was con- ducted by Elsa Emmons, assisted by Laura Bender and Edna Halliday. During this service, Molly Call- aghan sang "I Know Where I'm Going." Irene Guthrie introduced our speaker, Molly Callaghan of Seeley's Bay, who told us of the years she spent in Trinidad and of the life and people there. was greatly appreciated by all. Plans have been made to hold the Annual Fall Rally in Seeley's Bay. When the reports had been heard and business concluded, a lunch served by Anna Charland and veita Willows, and a social hour were enjoyed. There was some discussion on a trip but nothing was decided until we get further information. A delicious lunch was served . Mrs. Frank Poole asked the blessing. Our next meeting will be on June 20th. and a welcome is ex- tended to all.
