Over 200 people were welcomed by the long-time Forfar resident. Mrs. Merriman was born April 28. 1888 in Godfrey. Ont. but is now a resident of the Extendicare nursing home in Kingston. Special quests at the party were her brother. Will Freeman of Delta (91% years of age) and her two younger sisters. Gertie Kennedy and Nellie Kennedy. both of Godfrey. Another sister, Allie Sills of Kingston was unable to attend. The family would like to extend thanks to all the friends and rel- atives who came to visit and wish well and also to the Forfar ladies for providing the tea and cookies.
