Try Athens 0i| Burner Service Seven years ago the Canadian Bureau for International Education created EDUCATION CANADA. It is a program where participating students travel to different parts of Canada to live for a month with a different family, and to attend a different school. The main objective of this non-profit or- ganization is to help students grow in personal maturity and self-confidence, and to help them appreciate better the geographical and cultural differences of Canada. I had the great fortune to go on ex- change from October 15 to November 12 of this school year, to the Pas, Maniâ€" toba. I am presently hosting two girls from the West until March 10. Joan Miller, l6, is from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, and she enjoys music, reading, and swimming. Andrea Letourneau, 16, is from Calgary, Alberta, and she likes children, music, sewing, volleyball and acting. I've been able to show them most of the area and we've had a lot of fun. I am going to hate to see them go. Education Canada is the perfect way for young people to meet other young people from across Canada.
