The monthly meeting of the South Crosby Friendship Club was held at the Club Room. Rev. H. Seeley opened the meeting with prayer. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. A committee of four members was elected to look after the loanâ€" ing and renting of our room. The Lions Club Committee and Red Cross will be using the room this month. A request from a lady from Ottawa to rent the room for an evening was refused as there were too many people for the size of the room. We are happy to welcome a new member to the Club, Mrs. Pattemore. At our next meeting, Nov. 11th each member is requested to bring a Senior Citizen to acquaint them With our Club° Also at this meeting the quilt for which we have been selling tickets will be drawn. _ Rev. Seeley will have informa- tion regarding smoke detectors for Senior Citizens at our next meeting. With Christmas coming up a number of members would like to be able to go by bus to shop in Kingston or Brockville. This will be decided later. The meeting was adjourned.
