St. Luke's Memorial Restoration Committee has been busily preparing for St. LukeE Centennial in 1982, with an emphasis on parish renewal as well as the restoration of St. Luke's Church building. Half of the stained glass windows in the church have been re- The Lyndhurst branch of the Rideau Lakes Union Library has completed the move to its new location on the main street, directly across from the genâ€" eral store. The new library is larger, brighter and more central, and is in- tended to better serve area residents. Hours are as before: Monday 1:30â€"4:30, Wednesday and Friday 6:30-9:00, and Saturday 10:00â€"12:00. Lyndhurst branch is fortunate to have Mrs. Connie Chisamore as librarâ€" ian. Mrs. Chisamore has been a dedica- ted employee for five years and has also contributed many Volunteer work hours during this time period. With her experience and enthusiasm, Connie is a valued member of the Rideau Lakes Union Library staff. Membership for a year is 25f for adults and 10¢ for children.
