The joint service at St. Peter's hon- oured their patron saint, St. Peter and the recently purchased organ was dedicated at that time. The choir of St. George's Anglican church, Oshawa were our special guests and contribu- ted much to the worship through the beautiful singing of several anthems. While in our parish the choir members were guests of the Rev. and Mrs. Don Bailey. Don and Elaine met and were married while both of them were memâ€" bers of St. George’s choir. Following the service approximately 100 people proceeded to Kendrick's Beach for our annual parish picnic. Hamburgers and hotdogs were ably prepared by Joan Powell and Susan Duncan and cooked by our chefs, John Duncan, Bob Moulton and Ainslie Reid. An assortment of salads and desserts contributed by parish members completed the meal. Following socializing and swimming several games and contests were held which seemed to be enjoyed immensely by both participants and spectators alike.
