Phone 359- 5567 ATTENTION DELTA & AREA RESIDENTS Please consider these facts: Please consider these facts: - In 1979 many people of this area shared a common goalâ€"that being the construction of the new RECREATION CENTRE IN DELTA. â€" The coâ€"operative effort was a success and the facility is WELL used by all age groups during the entire year for many activities such as skating, hockey, tennis etc. â€" The centre is certainly an asset to the area and it was a positive indication of your interest in the youth of the district. Where has All Your Interest Gone? â€" For over 2 years now, the same few people have been abandoned with the complete responsibility for the year round administâ€" ration of the centre. They are the sole "chief cooks and bottle washers" of your community centre. - This is not only grossly unfair to them, but a clear demon- stration of a lack of community responsibility. THEREFORE, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOU ARE STRONGLY URGED TO ATTEND A PUBLIC MEET NO OF THE ATHLETIC AND RECREATION SOCIETY AT THE RECREATION CENTRE (DELTA RINKi ON WED. DEC. 2, at 8:00 p.m. IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THE FUTURE OF THE CENTRE, MANY QUESTIONS MUST BE ANSWERED. ATTENDANCE AT THIS MEETING WILL BE A CLEAR INDICATION OF THE PEOPLES' DESIRE TO SEE THE RINK OPEN OR NOT FOR THIS WINTER'S ACTIVITIES. Public Meeting -- Delta Rink Wed. Dec.2 --8:00p.m.
