Mr. Doug Campbell was also appointed to the position of Intermediate/Senior Consultant-Educational Services at the same meeting. The Advisory Committee on School Closure for North Edwardsburg Public School recommended that this school be closed in June 1987 and that students be transferred to Centennial "67 in September 1987. A Canada Works Summer Project will be producing a multiâ€"media teaching kit for the use in history, geography & science classes in the grade 7 to 10 levels. The kit will focus on the various aspects of the St. Lawrence River 8: Seaway, with special emphasis on the Cornwall to Kingston region. Anyone with suggestions for the kit or information on the area under study is asked to contact Maureen Jedynack at the Board office.
