COUNCIL NOTES Twp. of Bastard and South Burgess Council met in the Council Chambers on Monday, July 16, 1984 as a Committee of Adjustment at 1:00 P.M. then resumed as a Council at 1:30 P.M. â€" Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. - Three severences were approved. - Approved payment of Road Voucher in the amount of $70,871.02 and General Voucher in the amount of $18,240.32. - Requested Bell Canada to explain the over charge on the Portland Fire Dept. account. - Acknowledge receipt of correspondence relating to a property in Portland. â€" Approved an application for Tile Drainage in the amount of $12,350.00. â€" Paid a claim for sheep killed and injured. â€" Approved a 5 year lease with Pitney Bowes for our Postage meter. ~ Appointed Sue Turnbull to the Rideau Medical Centre Board. â€" Designated Emmanuel Anglican Church a Designated Property under the Ontario Heritage Act. â€" Extended our Bac Pac Agreement to July 31, 1984. â€" Request the land Division Committee to impose conditions on all future severences as of Sept. 30, 1984 as follows: a) Applicant to dedicate and convey up to 33 feet from the centre line of Township road allowance or Township road for purpose of future road widening, - Payment to the Township of cash to the value of 5% of any total consideration of $100.00 or more as shown on the Affidavit of Residence and of value of consideration being part of the Deed conveying land. ,Council adjourned to meet July 20, 1984. lo 5 Dave Show 359-5255 .H.s.
