The president, Betty Moorhead, welcomed everyone and meeting with prayer. Hazel Gilfillen was in charge of the devotional with the theme "Thanksgiving". The devotional closed with prayer. The offering was taken and dedicated. The secretary's report was read and approved. Twelve members answered the roll call, each one naming something for which they are thankful. The treasurer's report was read. It was moved and seconded that we purchase three life membership pins. Gladys Major gave a very interesting reading on the life of a textile worker in Korea. Plans were made for the bazaar to be held in the Conservation Hall on Nov. 9th. A minute of silence was held in memory of Ada McBurnie. The meeting closed with the Lord's Prayer and the Benediction.
