ElginSzDistrictCoâ€"op Nursery School The children have been busy little folks this past month. The Hallowe'en Party was a big success with costumes, films and special treats. Bruce Summers from the South Crosby Township Fire Dept. gave the children Fire Safety Awards. On Oct. 29th the children visited Skycroft. There was a visit to the Fire Station. The Senior class had an opportunity to go to the library and they had a ride on a school bus. In addition to new songs and crafts, they have been playing the fishing game which involves concentration, muscle control and counting and a sock game which involves tactile senses and matching. At the meeting on Oct. 27th, the following officers were elected: Pres. Melinda Warren; Sec. Betty Hawkins and Treas. Pat Summers. The Nursery School has been recently advised of a 500% increase in insurance costs. Needless to say, this is going to necessitate some important fundraising. It was decided to hold a 50/50 raffle which will be drawn at Rideau Crafts on Nov. 29th.
