Heart and Stroke Foundation Campaign â€" I987 The Heart and Stroke Foundation Campaign for Elgin and the surrounding area has been completed and was very successful. A total of $2386.00 was collected, an increase of $236.00 over 1086. On behalf of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, l wish to express my appreciation to all the canvasscrs and contributors for their help and generosity. I would like to thank the Elgin Lions Club for their generous donation and the Elgin Lioness Club, particularly Rota Ingram, for assisting with the canvassing as well as their generous contribution.
