The worship was taken by Sandra Freeman, Leorene Hayes, May Dennison, Leah Freeman and Phyllis Connell. The Thanksgiving theme was, "Gifts of Sharing." Special hymns were sung with Marion Seeley as pianist. The scriptures were read by Leorene and May. Phyllis had a reading on Thanksgiving. The collection was taken and dedicated by May. The elements of communion â€" bread and grapes - were taken, thus emphasizing the theme of sharing. The program was done by Marion Seeley and Ev Campbell. Marion introduced the study for this year - "Where do we get our values?" The 3 sources are the Gospel, media and culture. The business reading of opened with the September minutes by the secretary, Lydia Tackaberry. Reports were given by Treasurer, Enid Soper; Social Convenor, Eleanor Taylor; Lit., Loree Smith; Supply and Service, Sandra Freeman; Flower and Gift, Leorene Hayes. Our annual bazaar and supper will be held November 7th. There was discussion on several items that are ongoing. Correspondence was read. The 1991 Church calendars were available at $4.00 each. Also the Friendship Book. The church newsletter was distributed. Marjorie's "Happiness File" had 12 items of interest. The meeting closed with the singing of the benediction to the tune of Edelweiss.
