Even though South Africa is a country which, by its constitution, proclaims itself to be Christian, there are many problems categories, history of apartheid, black consciousness, liberation movements and escalating violence, etc. So the people and churches of South Africa are demanding that the world, in Boesak’s words, "Give us support and some sign of hope!" Indeed, if we hear their message clearly, we may see that the position of faith is not to avoid struggle, but to champion it! A short discussion was held re Nellie's topic. Our meeting then closed with the Mizpah benediction. Lunch was served by Irma and Betty, and it was very good! Thanks again to Mrs. Willard for opening her home for our meeting. The courtesy was given by Aileen Jacques.
