GLOGG (Scandinavian) 2/3 cup sugar 1/3 cup water 9 whole cloves 3 cinnamon sticks Rind of 1 lemon and 1 orange 1 cup lemon juice 1 bottle dry red wine % cup port or sherry Bring sugar,water,spices and rind to a boil. Boil 5 mins. Strain. Return syrup to pot and add lemon juice. Simmer lO mins.and add wine. Simmer 15 mins, add port or sherry. Makes 8 glasses. Do you know someone who deserves a medal?
