In September, the parents of children who attend the School were very pleased to have Mrs. Sue Dunfield assume her position as the new Teacher/Director. with the help of her assistant, Barb Neff, Mrs Dunfield continues to maintain the high quality atmosphere and environment which encourages the healthy development of social and physical skills in the growing preâ€"schooler. As in previous years, parents have been actively involved in fundraising projects, which helps to offset the expenses. Thanks to these endeavours, community support and public/private assistance, the nursery school room has had a cheery facelift, with school children. The little ones delighted everyone with their performances and it was evident to all who attended, the enormous amount of work that had preceded this event. Thank you Sue and Barb. The day was made complete with the arrival of Santa Claus and after his distribution of gifts, everyone enjoyed the delicious buffet generously provided by the parents. A huge success in all respects. Since Christmas the children have discussed many different topics. Owing in part to the co-operative Weather in January, the children enjoyed many outdoor recreational activities, which included tobogganing, snow sculpting and "boot" skating.
