The first meal will be served at 12 noon on Wednesday, September 27th, thereafter on every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. The price will remain the same, $3.00 for members, seniors and shut-ins. For all others the price is $5.00. Our regular meetings will start on Friday, September 15th and on the third Friday each month at 2p.m. The draw on our afgan (lst prize) and 2 cushions (2nd prize) will be ‘ made on September 15 at our first meeting. The afgan was donated by a friend of one of our members and the cushions were made and donated by Jane Breedyk. Again we had a very successful home-made candy sale at the Delta Fair. Also I am sure everyone was very pleased to learn that the oldest active member of our club, Eva Dougall, won first and special prize on her apron at the Fair. She also won a prize for the oldest entrant. Eva, may I say for the club we are all proud of you. Some of our members joined with Lyndhurst Seniors on a bus trip to the Kitten Mills at Lanark and a tour of the Hershey Plant in Smiths Falls. \£fi a :4 A e um. t \wW, O 0 fl ”WE BUILD 0R REPAIR WlRE AND PLUM?
