A delicious lunch was served. for the K‘I'DNEY FOUNDATION OF CANADA Edna and Lou Harris hosted a lunch at their home on August 30th for those who canvassed last March on behalf of the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Special guests were Derek Shaw, a past president of the Kingston Chapter, and his wife Margaret, a past treasurer. Mr. Shaw told the canvassers that the Kingston Chapter received $112,000. during the March Campaign and ranked third in the nation. Ottawa was first and Toronto second. He further advised that $60,000. of the amount was given as a grant to a Kingston doctor to aid him in his research into kidney disease. Canvassers are needed in the Lansdowne area.
