8 NORTH LEEDS LANTERN LYNDHURST U.C.W. The first meeting in our new hall was held on Monday, Feb. lst. It was also the first meeting of the year. The president, Marion Warren, welcomed everyone and gave a meditation based on the Scripture verses Thess. 3:12 and 1Cor 13:13. The hymn, "Love Divine" was sung and the meditation closed with the Lord's Prayer. The offering was taken by Marion and dedicated by Mary Townsend. The minutes of the last SETTING SAILS Preparations for the 'Setting Sails' Christian Renewal Program which will be held in the Parish Hall behind St. Luke's Anglican Church in Lyndhurst, l0-l3 April are gaining momentum.Elsewhere in this issue, you will find an advertisement for the fundâ€"raising Super Supper which will take place on March 26th. Soon the whole area will be festooned with posters announcing this exciting and unique opportunity to deepen faith and bring it alive in our community. Letters of invitation are also on their way to churches of all denominations in the area for their members to come and share this experience!
