Each year at this time thousands of volunteers across Canada begin to mobilize for the annual doorâ€"toâ€"door cancer. campaign. this year, the fiftieth anniversary of the Canadian Cancer Society’s dedication to the fight against the disease, is no exception. This year, as in the past the Society will do all it can to raise money for research, public education and service to patients. Locally, Ron and Marlene Dobson who have been coordinating the campaign for the Rideau Branch for the past eleven years have begun to get organized for the April campaign.
