EARLEH-CHANTRY UCW Jean Sheffield was hostess for Harlemâ€"Chantry UCW meeting Tuesday, May 7 with 12 members answering the roll call with a verse on the theme "Hope“. Marjorie Emmons, President for the month welcomed the members and opened the meeting with hymn, "Jesus Shall Reign where'er the Sun," and prayer. Nancy Wykes conducted the worship service. Marion Hutchings gave a paper, "Saved by Hope". Twenty-five home and 19 hospital calls were made and 16 books were read. An invitation was received from Portland UCW to attend their meeting June 18. A sunshine report was given. Hymn "God of Mercy, God of Grace" was sung. Meeting Closed with Mizpah Benediction and a social hour enjoyed.
