(Yes, I know; "cultural" is a fourâ€"letter word to some). Turnout at our more serious attempts is not good. And not helped by the presence of rambunctious, cranky, irritable children. If you must bring a small child (couldn't get sitter), or wish to expose your youngsters to some of the finer (my opinion, don't squawk!) music, please have your child well-rested. And if they become restless or fed- up please take them OUT! A cranky child guarantees 29 repeat attendance. Yes, our concerts are subsidized but only if there is community support.
