The church stood at the top of a hill overlooking the, now flooded, village of Macky, on land donated by James Dunlop (the first) Behind the church, a road leads left (east) to the cemetery, also a gift of my great grandfather. There is a picture of the village taken from in front of the church looking down the hill., showing the CPR station water tower houses the hotel & the Dunlop homestead in the back across the tracks. The Ottawa river & the Laurentions of Quebec form the background.
