- Description
- The CPR steamer Athabasca docked at the Canadian Pacific Railway grain elevator built over the fall and winter of 1883/84 that became operational in May 1884. The elevator was leased by Joseph Goodwin King of Port Hope, Ontario, in October 1891, and operated by him until his death in 1910. The CPR then leased the elevator to David Horn, former chief grain inspector at Winnipeg. It was demolished in May 1923. To the right of the steamer are two yachts and a tug boat.
