Aerobics- Fit in Time- Lynn Pearen, Taking Charge with Aerobics- Anna Fox, Men in Motion- Gay Harris, Mixed Drill Aerobics- Gay Harris, Aerobic Workout- Lorraine Bull, Weight Room Orientation- Gordie Phillips Health Awareness- CPR Heartsaver- Cathy Withers, St. John's Emergency First Aid- Cathy Withers Special Interest- Christmas Sewing and Crafts- Elise Kenney, Beginner Sewing- Elise Kenney, Knitting (beginner and advanced)- Bea St. Louis, The Art of Hair Braiding- Joanne Boilard Kid's Programs- Babysitting- Debbie Corrigan, Kid's Krafts (ages 6- 8)- Jeff Mikus, Kid's Christmas Baking (9- 12 years)- Jeff Mikus Potential Programs- If there is sufficient interest, the follow- ing programs will be offered: Child Identification Program, Fitness for Kids, Cake Decorating, Wreath Making, Jive Dancing, Photography, Needlework, Quilting, Nutrition and You, Adult Figure Skating, Power Skating, and Learn to Skate. Smurf Bowling- A meeting will be held on: Wednesday, September 12 in the Multi-pur- pose room at 7:00 p.m. For more Schreiber Rec Ballroom Dance- Dolores Niskannen of Thunder Bay will be in Schreiber on September 22nd and 23rd to instruct the art of Ballroom Dance. Registrations are being accepted at the Rec Office until Friday, September 16th. Aerobics- The Fall session of Aerobics will begin Monday, Sept. 17. Afternoon classes will be held on Monday and Wednesday from 1:30 to 2:30 and evening classes will be coducted Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. To register contact the Rec Office at 824-2317. Gymnastics- Before we can offer this program we are in need of a number of assistant coaches. If you would be willing to help out the coaches in any manner please contact the Rec Office at 824-2317. We are anticipating this program beginning the mid- dle of October. The Rec Department is planning instruc- tion in Kindergym - rhythmic and tumbling as well as advanced gymnastics. If you wish more info on the program please con- tact the Rec Office. 1990-91 Regular Ice Time- It is once again time to start think- ing about the upcomingwinter seasons. All organizations wish- ing regualr weekly ice-time this winter are reminded to pick up their request froms at the Rec. office. All requests are to be sub- mitted to the Recreation Office before 4:00 p.m. Friday Sept. 21st. An ice-time meeting has been scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 26th. All organizations are asked to have « theri tournament and special event requests available for this meeting. info call Shelly Long at 825-9161 or Leah Falzetta at 825-9471. Bowling- The 1990-91 Season will commence on September 24th. Bowlers must have a cur- rent membership with the Rec Department. -- Tae Kwon Doe- This pro- gram will be starting again this Fall. If you did not register at the Fall Fair, please contact J. Thippawong at 229-1651 in Marathon. Hockey School- Northwestern Hockey Sports Camp will be hosting a hockey school in Terrace Bay from October 9- 13. This school is open to players 5- 18 years of age. Registration will be held at the Rec Centre in the Multi purpose Room October 13 & 14 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Registration is limited, and will be on a first-come, first-serve open 9:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Thursday & Friday basis. Skate Exchange- Terrace Bay Minor Hockey Association will be hosting their annual Skate Exchange on _ Thursday, September 13th in the Multi Purpose Room from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Arena Ice Time Users- The Rec Department is notifying all Arena Ice Time users to submit their 1990-91 Ice Time requests to the Rec Office by Friday, September 21st.
