He expects the season to be strong from May 16 to October. "I'm hearing that the season is stronger than last year. Tourist outfitters report that they have more on the book now than they did all last year," he said. Barb McEwen, tourist co-ordi- nator of the North of Superior region, credits effective market- ing strategy for the increase in inquiries and interest in northern tourism.
