Miss Joyce Mushqush and Ronald lLanigen were business visi- tors to Nipigon last week. Rev, Father Hershnik of Beardmore visited the Pays Plat Mission on Sunday. Mrs. Josephine Gerow is home from Slate River for the winter season. Rev. Father Farrell, John Todesco and son Charles have returned to Sarnia after hunting in this area. Mrs. Kathleen Paulmert was a business visitor to Fort William last week and was accompanied home by her brother, W. Walker. Mac Hubelit motored to Thunder Bay last week. The Annual Hall Committee meeting takes place Sunday, October 8th at 7.30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. The heavy rain the past week weakened and washed out cul- verts along the highway, the worst ones here were at the Highway camp and McLean's Creek. Many residents reported leaking roofs caused by roofing paper having been rip- ped off by the heavy wind accompanying the rain. The storm kept the residents indoors.
