- Letter send to the CPR station in Schreiber, Ontario regarding the pleasing appearance of the the station grounds that were created and maintained by Louis Halonen.
The letter reads:
"To Windsor Station, Montreal
Dear Sir, I want to express appreciation of the magnificent garden
particularly the lawn-at Schreiber, Ontario. The thrill of it will never
be forgotten by anyone seeing it upon coming out of the long-
drawn out wilderness of several hundred miles before reaching
Schreiber. I have never seen a finer railway station garden
anywhere- either on this continent or abroad.
