- Black and white photograph of the Confucius float. Year of the photograph is unknown as well as the parade name.
- Notes
- Patron Comment: This is the Chinese National League Float from the Coronation Day Parade in Fort William, May 10, 1937. I believe that the street in this instance is Simpson Street, as it resembles the edifices along that road, and the building on the left if clearly a pool hall which used to cover up their windows 3/4 of the way. Which pool hall on Simpson I do not know but I do know that there were many there. It appears that the building on the right has something to do with the James Murphy Coal Co. The Chinese Float won first prize in the "Non-Anglo Saxon" category for floats.
